Thread: postgresql driver for JDBC !

 hi i am mca student, trying to install postgresql driver in our linux
machine.
 but after installtion jdbc java file unable to load driver.
 i also have set the postgresql.jar in CLASSPATH(/etc/profile).
 also have set the 'tcpip_socket = true' in postgresql.conf.

Hi,

If you just want to use pg in regular java classes, the classpath should
work,
if tomcat (for servlets) then you need to place the *postgres*.jar file
in /tomcat/common/lib/

What's your setup?
