ResultSetMetaData.getColumnClassName() patch not in latest pgjdbc2.jar?

when is the patch for ResultSetMetaData.getColumnClassName() (see
http://fts.postgresql.org/db/mw/msg.html?mid=1345846) going to be
incorporated into the jdbc driver? I'm still getting this error with the
latest pgjdbc2.jar.

Floyd,

Have you tried the development version?  Generally patches only get
applied to the development branch.

No since it says "do not use in a production environment".

When will the development branch be next merged into the production
branch?
