Hello
I am new to the postgres and was trying to compile a
program using embedded sql. The main program has class
definitions and when I tried to compile the program I
am having compilation errors wherever these classes
are defined. Can anyone please explain to me what am I
supposed to do?

Thanks
sesh

I compile the esql to a C++ file and have no problems. Exactly what errors
do you have?

ecpg is a tool for embedded sql in C, not C++. Some of the C++ stuff
works, but I'm not sure what does and what doesn't.

As a first step it would be helpful if you can send some more detailed
information.
