Thread: all groups a user belongs to

hello,
how can i determine all groups a user belungs to in a plpgsql procedure? or 
can this even be done in a simple sql statement?

CREATE FUNCTION getpid () returns int4 as '/lib/libc.so.6' LANGUAGE 'C';SELECT getpid();
