Thread: Lotus Approach 97 can't open :-(

Hi

This is it. I had it. I just can't sort it out.

I can create an table using Lotus Appr, but I can't open it. It fails
with error code -7011 (Couldn't open database blaah blaah) and then it
show another message saying:

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver does not support this function.

Right. Which function?

Even WordPro opens tables from the same source and all Borland products.

Any idea?

Turn on tracing in the odbc administrator.  Then run the same sequence of
operations again, and then view the logfile (probably c:\sql.log).  You
should see your above message in there.  Whatever comes before that in the
log should give you a good clue as to what is not supported.
