If this is true...does anyone know who did it or when it might be found?  i would be curious to hear
from people who might have attempted it and how successful(good or bad) they were!

    The most current source code (upcoming v6.4) has #ifdef'd sections
for WIN32, as well as a make file for Microsoft Visual C++5.0 or compat...
