Hi,
When I am trying to import a file(named 'myfile') that is present in
my home directory into the the postgresql database using the
*pgaccess* gui tool, it is giving the following error.
ERROR: COPY command, running in backend with effective uid 26, could
not open file 'myfile' for reading. Errno=Permission denied
Can any one please tell me what I am missing here. Is it necessary for
the 'postgres' user to own the file named 'myfile' under my home
directory.
