Thread: server error

Dear Friends,
 
I have recently installed PostgreSQL 8.3.11 on Windows 7 32 bit operating System. when I start the server it is showing me following error. Please see the screen shot. Please let me know what is the problem and how should I proceed.

Try installing the current version, 9.0.

You haven't said where you got the installer / how you installed, how
you're starting the server, etc.

Personally I suspect you have UAC problems because you're using an old
version of the Pg installer, PgAdmin, etc that doesn't know about
account privilege separation.
