I'll be unexpectedly in Madison next week for an onsite contract. Is
there a user group in Madison I could meet up with? Maybe do a quick
session on 9.0?

There's not a PostgreSQL user group in the area, but the Madison PC Users' Group meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month. http://www.mpcug.com/public/default.htm You might contact them and see about making a presentation.
