Hi,

I am using prepared statements in Postgresql 8.4.

Does Postgresql

a) plans statements only once when PREPARE is called?

b) replans statements from time to time

c) replans when underlying statistics change on behalf of ANALYZE command?

kind regards
Janning

http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.4/interactive/sql-prepare.html ,
chapter "Notes".
