There will be a pgDay in Italy in october (www.pgday.it), and IIRC
there is also a pgDay or so coming up in France, but I don't think
they've announced the days yet. I'd go to those if I could :-)

(You'll want to get subscribed to pgeu-general for Europe-specific
things)

one of the main European Python Events will be:

 EuroPython 2008 in Vilnius, Lithuania
 Monday 7th July - Saturday 12th July at the Reval Hotel Lietuva

  Quite likely there will also be some talk about PostgreSQL and how
great 8.3 is
