Thread: Runaway Instances of Postmaster

Seeing dozens of postmasters running on my server. Depleting all my
memory.   Some as old as 300 hours.  They don't change into backend
postgres: some service processes as you'd expect.

Nothing obviously misconfigured in the .conf file.

I'm running v8.0 no linux.

Any help would be appreciated.
