Thread: PG Dump 8.2
Hi, Does anyone know if Ubuntu 6.10 (LTS) has packages for PostgreSQL 8.2, from a recommandable place ? I can not recommend my clients to use 8.2 if there's nobody supporting the packages (so just compiling from the source codeis not an option). Have fun, L@u The Computing Froggy ___________________________________________________________________________ Découvrez une nouvelle façon d'obtenir des réponses à toutes vos questions ! The best you could probably get is 8.1 which is a perfectly acceptable and stable release. Sincerely, Joshua D. Drake Well, there are 8.2 binaries for Ubuntu 6.10 [1], but for LTS (6.04) 8.1 is the latest version available. Regards MP [1] https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postgresql-8.2

They will only stick with the current major version they shipped with, just like RedHat ES. Joshua D.
