Thread: pg_restore

Hi,

I took a dump using the following command

Pg_dump  -f  bk.dmp

When I tried to restore  a table from the dump it just hangs there

Pg_restore -f bk.dump -t table_name

Also tried by giving username also

Any light on this.

pg_restore [OPTION]... [FILE]

in this case don't use -f (as that represents "output" file name)
try pg_restore -d db_name -t table_name -U username bk.dmp
