Thread: problem in connecting to postgreserver
Sir,
I have installed postgres in my standalone pc and PGAdmin -III,i am able to start postgresql server and it is running,but when i try to connect to postgreserver from pgadmin i am geting
Error connecting to server
Is the server running on host 127.0.0.1 and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432.
can u please tell me what the problem is

What operating system are you running? Are you running with the stock postgresql.conf and pg_hba.conf files? How did you configure the connection in PgAdmin III? -- Guy Rouillier
