I am looking for merchant software to support a business that sells
building materials. There is a linux server (RedHat v9.0). It is
presently used only to host files for a windows accounting system
(using Samba), but we want a client-server solution for access by
remote branches. We have PostgreSQL (7.0), but don't use it yet.
Can anybody point me in the direction of a package which has all the
usual modules, and a flexible pricing structure (discounts by volume,
customer etc.) suitable for the UK, with VAT?
We have 14 Windows 98 workstations at the moment, and the FoxPro based
system is creaking badly.
