When I click on one of the links on http://www.postgresql.org/docs/ i get "Sorry, the page or service you have requested is currently unavailable." Same thing when I click on news or event articles on the front page. So something obviously have stopped working. -- /Dennis

Well, try to ping it, or do a traceroute. I'm in NZ, and I can get there fine. Either your link is bust or a route along the way is bust. Hi, both postgresql.org & postgresql.com appear to have the same problem - any links to pages on the site that use PHP give the 'page unavailable' error instead... The 'plain' HTML pages are unaffected. Regards, Robert Jenkins, JRW UK.

I could able to access any other sites except > www.postgresql.org Major changes were made to the DNS for postgresql.org earlier this week. All of the DNS for the mirrors was dropped: that is why people were seeing sporadic "host not found" errors. I *think* the DNS is working properly again. Why this was not announced to a public list, and why the change was not announced in advance is beyond me. I (and others) have offered to act as a secondary nameserver to help prevent things like this from happening, but have gotten no response. - -- Greg Sabino Mullane greg@turnstep.com PGP Key: 0x14964AC8 200305161000 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: http://www.turnstep.com/pgp.html iD8DBQE+xPAivJuQZxSWSsgRAnnxAKDsNWnGAiJZ2yVlGHWt0C1yGWlGmwCg19k1 hNyrGblGTjmUvDfRxxKqZsU= =B3EW -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
