Thread: SCO 5.0.4 Compilation
In case this is of use to others attempting to compile 7.3.1 on SCO 5.0.4: My make fails with: error: undefined symbol: INT_MAX in the file pg_backup_tar.c My workaround is to add the following line to that file: #include <limits.h> Disclaimer: I do not claim that this is the correct way to deal with this issue - I just needed the make to complete so I could get some clients and libraries for SCO. My server, running on RedHat 8, compiles just fine and does not produce this error. Cheers, Steve

The code appears to need that only when INT64_IS_BUSTED is set. I guess 7.3 hasn't yet been tested on machines without int64 support. Did you find any other problems? regards, tom lane
