Hi,

the german newspaper ZEIT uses Debian, Zope and PostgreSQL for his webpagers.
Here is a article about it: http://www.zeit.de/2002/49/ZEIT-Online.

That's quite cool too. "ZEIT" is a "heavy" (intellectually and
in terms of weight) weekly newspaper and is very highly
regarded. It would certainly be a very useful "reference
customer" for anyone trying to "sell" PostgreSQL in German
speaking countries.

ZEIT has been using its new system since last week, they
have some more detailed info here:

http://software.zeit.de/software/index

They promise to supply full details of their implentation too,
"as soon as the documentation and code reaches the
standard (sic)".

Their descripition of PostgreSQL:

Eine freie SQL Datenbank mit objektrelationalen Erweiterungen.
Ehemals ein Laborexperiment ist PostgreSQL inzwischen ein
ernstzunehmender Mitspieler im Feld der "grossen" Datenbanken

'A free SQL database with object-relational extensions. Formerly
a laboratory experiment (sic), PostgreSQL has become a serious
competitor to the "big" databases'.
