Hi Luis,

PostgreSQL has been compared a few times against other database's, but
they are mostly out of date as of the 7.2 release. The comparison in
question that I feel offer a most objective view of all database's
involved in the comparison is from PHPBuilder (www.phpbuilder.com) the

PostgreSQL has no native port to windows as of yet, but if you use the
"Cygwin" package (http://www.cygwin.org) they have a PostgreSQL version
that has been compiled and tested for Windows.

For the record, there are a couple of companies that have done native
windows ports of postgresql, though they are commercially licensed
afaik.
