I can see you are a German reader.
If you wait there will be only an advanced book in German (Markt Und
TEchnik Verlag) for Postgresql.
This will be an advacned version.
Ruby is not mentioned in any of our books.
What book you buy depends on your needs.
If you use more PHP then buy the PHP-Book. If not it's better you buy
the other.
AFAIK you need the postgresql Developers Handbook .
This are only suggestions. You can buy other books too :-)
