how can I get the size of my database and table size in MB?
See contrib/dbsize in the source archive, or it should be installed if you installed the contrib RPM (assuming Linux). I've search in contrib and I can't find it

From the looks of it, it's not in any of the releases. You should be able to get it out of CVS though. Oh, sorry, I didn't realize that wasn't in 7.2.
