Thread: pg_hba.conf issue

I wanna connect froma remote host to the Database via JDBC.
I modified the pg_hba.conf  to this :

Could some one hint me on what I should do ?

Unless my understanding is incorrect, I think the mask is wrong:

255.255.255.0

would allow a connection from 192.168.1.xxx

255.255.255.255

matches an exact host, 192.168.1.0.
