Thread: vacuum analyze never finishes

We are having trouble with vacuum analyze.  It never finishes after 4.5 hours.
It hangs up on an index of a table with almost 3 million rows.

Is it using CPU when it "hangs"?  If not, it's probably waiting on a
transaction lock held by another client.  Make sure no other clients
have an open transaction.
