data mining or statistical analysis with postgresql

Hi All,
    Can anyone tell me of a freeware / opensource tool or software that can
be used to perform data-mining or statistical analysis of the data contained
within a postgresql db. Some tool that connect efficiently with postgresql
would be ideal.

Rishabh,

  Don't know about the data mining (I work for the mineral mining industry),
but look for the R statistical language. It'll do whatever statistics you
want.
