Marc is generally the guy to notify about PG server problems.

Perhaps a DNS issue? From here, news.postgresql.org resolves
as an alias for www2.us.postgresql.org = 64.39.15.238

            regards, tom lane

    halfdome.holdit.com>> telnet news.postgresql.org 119
    Trying 64.39.15.238...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
    halfdome.holdit.com>> host news.postgresql.org
    news.postgresql.org is a nickname for www2.us.postgresql.org
    www2.us.postgresql.org has address 64.39.15.238
    www2.us.postgresql.org has address 64.39.15.238
    halfdome.holdit.com>>

When that starts working again, would someone let us know?
