OK, saw in the latest history file in the CVS that limit #,# will be
totally gone in 7.3.
So does this mean 7.2 will support both limit #,# and limit # offset #
?

Yes.  Please start migrating to LIMIT # OFFSET #.

Every version of Postgres that's had LIMIT at all has supported both
syntaxes.  LIMIT # OFFSET # is not a new feature.
