Could you please point me to a source of C++ code examples for connection to
Postgres. The document coming with 6.5.2 does not contain any.

As someone who is new to Postgres and C++, I would appreciate your help.

I would *strongly* urge that you upgrade to 7.1.3 rather than even
trying to use 6.5.2--many critical bugs have been fixed in the years
since 6.5 was current.

You might even find that the C++ libraries are documented in the new
version...
