I have a database with 4 main tables with about 200K to 400K rows each in a
vision database
I want to bring this data into an RDMS to easily extract and analyze, update
as new records are added to the vision database
My question is: if I put the data into Postgres 7.x znd write a front end
with VB6 using the Postgres ODBC drivers, what can I expect performance
wise?
Compared to VB6 and ADO using SQL server 2000?
Much rather go with open source if possible..
