This is a guess - have you tried:

SELECT * FROM tableName WHERE time = CURRENT_TIMESTAMP - '3 months'::interval

Try this:
SELECT  *  FROM mytbl  WHERE create_date > (now() - '3 month'::interval) ;

See date/time function manual.
