Thread: how to start postgresql server ( or postmaster ) automatically
I have installed the postgresql in a Linux 6.2 machine. Everything seems to be working. However, after rebooting the system, I have to manually start the postmaster. I found that there is postgresql under /etc/rc.d/init.d. How can I set up the machine so that it will automatically restart postmaster after reboot? Thanks
