Then you have a broken (or at least fatally incomplete) Tcl installation. tclConfig.sh is *not* an optional part. >> Is there a way to compile the tcl/tk interface without these >> scripts and without recompiling tcl/tk from source? I recommend doing your own Tcl install so that you have a correct Tcl setup... regards, tom lane
