Thread: ODBC Question for 7.0
I had the ODBC stuff set up for PostgreSQL 6.* and running it from within StarOffice5.1 last week. This morning I successfully upgraded to PostgreSQL 7.0 (goodie for me). Unfortunately I don't know how to upgrade the ODBC drivers. I have them, I'm just not sure what to do with them. To get PostgreSQL 6.0 ODBC up and running I used unixODBC. Although it sort of works with 7.0 I'm getting errors. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to install the new 7.0 ODBC Drivers? I think there is some sort of setup file that unixODBC needs to interact with the 7.0 drivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sam -- _____________________ / Samuel A. Replying to myself in the event that anyone was curious. Ended up closing down StarOffice and starting it back up. Everything works fine now. Go figure. Can't really do/see relationships in Star Office, although that may be more a StarOffice thing than ODBC driver. Sam "Samuel A. Hmm, looks like StarOffice has better Microsoft compatibility than I thought ;). Link.
