The default editor when i invoke "\e" in "psql" it is "vi". How can I replace the editor with something else? Thanks, Rafael.

Dont forget to export this variable! HIH & MfT Guido -- "Please remain calm...I may be mad, but I am a professional." -- Mad Scientist

Maybe setting system variable EDITOR should help. Try: $ export EDITOR=pico BTW, I'd rather learn vi ;-) -- Rafal Slubowski \\ rafal@paputek.decsoft.com.pl /O `----. www.slubek.w.pl * (_.-. )\ *|* rs //--// X
