Thread: readline lib: command line history editing - Is it needed?

How do I enable the history editing in psql??

Should I install the readline library on linux system BEFORE doing the
compile and create the
redhat RPM??

How can I avoid the re-compile?

Looks like I have redo the compile and regenerate the RPMs for redhat
linux.
