"make install" note

From

Hi,

When you do a "make install" (current CVS, if it matters)
you are invited to fill in a survey:

  And, so that we have an idea of who is using what, please connect to the
  following registration URL:

    http://www.postgresql.org -> Helping Us -> Survey/Register

I couldn't find this page -- I suspect the message (from
pgsql/register.txt) should be updated.

Matthew.

Good question. I think we should use:

    http://www.postgresql.org -> User's Lounge -> Register as a user

but that page only talks about Projects. Is that the right page?

There's two pages, register/ and user_gallery/ and they're both the
same and they're both wrong! I'm CCing pgsql.com's webmaster, maybe
(s)he can figure it out.

Looking at the page, it's not obvious how someone registers as a
PostgreSQL user. Am I missing something?

Ummm... How 'bout a button that says "Register as a PostgreSQL User"
or something like that?

Within a week or so, techdocs.postgresql.org/surveys/ could be a useful
addition to the survey. It doesn't yet put the data in the database, so it's
kind of useless presently.
