Thread: Database recovery

What's the chapter "Database Recovery" in the Admin Guide meant for? I
mean if you delete a database it's gone, there's no way to recover, right?

It is intended to contain info on how to recover from a corrupted or
damaged database. It should include hints to, say, delete and rebuild
indices, how to use utilities to backup and restore, etc etc
