Does anyone know where/if pg_hba.conf is documented?  I would have thought
it'd be in the admin section but it doesn't appear to be in any of 'em.

The file contains the documentation, and there is a manual page, pg_hba.conf.

There is mention of it in security.sgml, which was present but not
built into the formatted docs. If we want to write it up better, or
move some info from the man page into the cleaner docs, then that
might be the place to put it.
