I have installed the latest version of cygwin/postgresql on a
windows 2000 terminal (5.00.2195 SP 4) with pentium III (1200 Mhz)
and 265 kB RAM - is there any known issue why it behaves
incredibly slow??? it took ages alone just to configure and
make some packages (postgis) - if I connect to my
testdatabase (with only one table and four small test-dates) it takes
about 20 seconds until I get a reply!
