Hi all

Everything was starting up and working correctly on this XP Home. Attempted
to bring things up to date using cygwin setup.
On re-booting machine postmaster failed to start with the following entry in
the postmaster log

IpcMemoryCreate: shmget(key=5432001, size=1499136, 03600) failed: Function
not implemented

The following config is working Ok, so is how I had to leave it for now.
cygipc 2.01-2
cygwin 1.5.3-1
postgresql 7.3.4-1

Thanks
Roger

Have now fixed.
I had not of course installed the new ipc-daemon2 as a service. and then
re-installed the postmaster according to
http://www.tishler.net/jason/software/postgresql/postgresql-7.3.4.README
All working now thanks.

Roger
