Thread: Version number in file '/cygdrive/d/pgsql/data/PG_VERSION' should be 7.0, not 7.0

Hi all,
I'm trying to have postgresql running on my windows 2000.
I got the postgresql-7.0-nt-binaries.tar.gz file and I installed all the
pre-requisites like cygwin and cygwin32_ipc.

When I run the "postgresql.exe -D d:\pgsql\data" command I get the followig
error:

binding ShmemCreate(key=0, size=905216)

What's happening ?

Thanks in advance,

Looks like you need version 7.0 instead of version 7.0

Sorry, couldn't resist.  I have not seen this before.

Please use the pre-built 7.1.2 that is part of the standard Cygwin
distribution:
