9.6Beta1 Released (Where advocated)

From
"Joshua D. Drake"

Hello,

Now that 9.6Beta1 is out, I wanted to compile a list of where it has
been mentioned. I have posted to:

Twitter (@postgresql)
r/postgresql
r/opensource
r/databases
Hackernews
Facebook (PostgreSQL Server group)

I will also be blogging on PostgreSQL.US about the release.

What has everyone else got?

Sincerely,

JD

Might go better if this is fixed:

Release Notes Link is broken on the website

Click on the:

9.6 Beta 1 Release Notes

Also look at the versions in the title versus the versions actually
being released.

Also, it looks like headline on the homepage shows older numbers for
back-branch releases:

PostgreSQL 9.6 Beta 1, 9.5.2, 9.4.7, 9.3.12, 9.2.16 and 9.1.21 Released!

That needs to be fixed.

Thanks,
Amit

Oops, didn't see that Adrian already mentioned that. Sorry for the noise.

What do you mean did not like? It's top post there currently.

Not top post, last post or more accurately most current post.

That said, when I checked it for this email it had zero upvotes and I am
also not worried about it, there are only 254 subscribers.

Well it's top in the "hot" listing which is the important one (whatever
you want to call it).

That's because the main db community is in r/database (singular),
probably something to keep in mind for beta2.
