Thread: !MySQL Conference 2011
Looks like we have a half-dozen of the usual crowd speaking about PostgreSQL during the upcoming MySQL conference this April in Santa Clara. EDB and Continuent will have relatively friendly booths there. I'm wondering if it's worth setting up a proper PostgreSQL booth as well, just put on the asbestos and make a scene. Seems like there will be enough people there to staff it; I'd consider adding to a sponsorship pot to help fund it. Has anyone started talking with O'Reilly about this yet? -- Greg Smith 2ndQuadrant US greg@2ndQuadrant.com Baltimore, MD PostgreSQL Training, Services, and 24x7 Support www.2ndQuadrant.us "PostgreSQL 9.0 High Performance": http://www.2ndQuadrant.com/books

They decided not to call it the Not Only MySQL conference -- NO-MySQL would have been a funny name. I can't run the booth, but if you're stepping up to do that, then we can reserve one. We should definitely have a BoF, which we've done in the past.. -selena -- http://chesnok.com
