I would like to announce the formation a local PostgreSQL users group within the Capital District of New York State.  A hosted web site has been started to support the group: http://nycdpug.x10hosting.com/  .  If live within the Capital District and you are using or interested in using PostgreSQL, please visit the web site.  The first kick off meeting is scheduled for January 7, 2010 and you are welcome to attend.

Since this is your first meeting, SPI and/or pg.US can pay for food for
the meeting, up to a limit of $200.

Also, would you rather have a site on postgresql.org?

And where is the capital district?
