It seems like the linux.conf.au team has dropped the "Open Source Databases" mini-conf, which is a shame. Would have been far more appropriate :-) I'll let you know in the next few days if I'm able to commit. Just closing this topic out ... sorry to report that I won't be able to make it: conflicting priorities that week. As a "consolation prize", I will be attending OSDC in Sydney in December, and flying the PostgreSQL flag there ... it'll have many of the same delegates as linux.conf.au.
