Do we have a booth sign/banner anymore?

If the answer is no, may I have permission to order/get one printed in
the next five days? :)

I have the falling-apart laminated banner Josh had made for OSCON.
Otherwise, no, we don't have anything in SF. I even gave away the
mini-banner to Robert or Josh, I don't remember who.

Since LUGRadio is a table, I think a new mini-banner is appropriate (i.e.
2' x 4'). Those are quite cheap; I could take care of getting one from
Kinko's for about $100.

That would be AWESOME. As long as there's money in the treasury, let's do it!

Perhaps I should make some propaganda for the Linux World event, and
OSCON. Cards? Or tri-fold? I can take care of these (of course,
going through a round of editing).

Finally, do we also need to print some advocacy fliers?

I already have art for this. I can get it printed at Kinkos. That will
get us through LugLive. I will be getting a "real" sign 5x5 before
OSCON.

Ok - whatever works. As I said, I am leaving Portland Thursday
morning (early).

It would be nice if you can have it printed in SF where Josh can pick
it up so that I don't have to figure out how to get a sign back to my
house on my bike :)

That is what I assumed would happen.

You should also consider using a "rollup" instead of a banner:

http://andreas.scherbaum.la/pictures/main.php?g2_view=tags.VirtualAlbum&g2_tagName=postgresql+rollup

You don't need to tighten the rollup like a banner, you can move it
around and people seem to take a look onto it.

Kind regards

A 5x5 won't work for LUGRadio. We have a table, and may not have a wall
directly behind us. We need a 2'x4' or similar.

OK if I take care of this?

I never suggested a 5x5 will work for LugLive :P

I had planned on just sending the art from the sign at OSCON to Fedex
near your office.

Sure, go for it! You have art for a 2x4 or 2x5?

I have art for:

a 24x36 poster

a 48x48 poster (which can be laminated with grummets or whatever they
are called)

The sizes can change at will as they are vector as long as the aspect
doesn't.

Sincerely,
