Thread: Call for speakers: Ohio Linuxfest
Folks, If any of you is in the Ohio area, LinuxFest wants PostgreSQL speakers: http://ohiolinux.org/speak.html Deadline for talks is July 31st. Please consider speaking/going, this is a fun community event and they made a special point of asking for PostgreSQL people. David, can you put this in Sunday's PWN? -- --Josh Josh Berkus PostgreSQL @ Sun San Francisco

That sounds like a neat trip. I have never driven through there, and it seems not much further than a visit to my brother near Detroit... There was some publicity of this recently at the local LUG, and there may be a carload of locals already headed down there... Open question: Is there something sorta like Bruce's "State of the Elephant" from last summer <http://www.postgresql.org/docs/techdocs.38> that's pointed at 45 minutes, rather than ~15? If there's something out there that I could do a "steal that presentation" on, I could make a September plan... -- let name="cbbrowne" and tld="ntlug.org" in String.concat "@" [name;tld];; http://www3.sympatico.ca/cbbrowne/linux.html Why do you need a driver's license to buy liquor when you can't drink and drive?

Driving from Toronto to Columbus takes 8 hours if you need to know. Columbus is pretty neat. Just be careful with the parking tickets ... -- Peter Eisentraut http://developer.postgresql.org/~petere/
