Thread: PostgreSQL 8.0 in Linux Journal

Not sure if I saw this mentioned here already so here it goes.

PostgreSQL 8.0 is in the "New Products" section of the April 2005 issue of
Linux Journal.

A very nice announcement.  Mentions PITR, tablespaces, improved disk and
memory usage through ARC, background writer, and vacuum delay.

They're on the PG Press List, if nowhere else (i.e. they recieved the
release).  I did talk to the editor about publishing an "8.0" article, but I
wasn't able to make it compelling enough ... nor provide a firm date.
