Thread: Oracle - PostgreSQL comparison
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, I know it's been talked too much on pgsql-* lists; but I need a Oracle - PostgreSQL comparison. I searched through the archives and I have some items now. What I'm exactly looking forward is a "web page" or "document" about this. AFAIR, we have some for MySQL. Hello, That is a little vague. Oracle and PostgreSQL although very similar are also very different and serve different markets and needs. Is there something specific you are looking for besides the fact that PostgreSQL doesn't cost 40k? That's why I'm looking for some documents or web pages. There is nothing specifis at all. BTW: Money is not everything. I'd choose PostgreSQL if both of them were free or both of'em costed 40K. I'm not sure what I should do, if both were open source ;) Regards, - -- Devrim GUNDUZ devrim@gunduz.org devrim.gunduz@linux.org.tr http://www.tdmsoft.com http://www.gunduz.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/fy1htl86P3SPfQ4RApIYAJ0T42XCvhIn51u8OM5riubdvOrtSwCgiqfu RDgDyWqPVhA/yE3nY+hjsi8= =OIwh -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
