I'm afraid I have absolutely no contacts in the French-speaking
technology press. I will try to ask on the PostgreSQL French ML and see
if anyone can do something.

Well, the French community does. The site is
http://pgsql-fr.tuxfamily.org and the ML is pgsql-fr-generale, but both
are still not referenced on the main web site, which is a shame (I
know, Josh, you already forwarded this to the www list, but it does not
seem to have had any effect).

Cheers.

yes we are slackers, but if you want to make the changes I can hook you
up with the CVS info...

Sorry, I didn't want to sound insulting. I know we are all very busy
and doing our best to contribute to PostgreSQL (the French translation
is not proceeding very fast those days, alas). The French web site
doesn't contain a lot of info yet, but I was just a bit frustrated for
the French mailing list, because people have no easy way to find it if
it's not mentioned in the lists page.

Cheers
